Francisco Costa, from the world famous design house, told a newspaper that he believes that the Duchess of Cambridge looks like "an all-American girl".
He told the Daily Telegraph that he would like to work with Kate and believes that she could become a style icon.
Francisco is quoted as saying: "She's very Calvin, when you think about it.
"She's athletic looking, with great teeth and amazing hair - in many ways she looks like an all American Girl.
He added: "So yes, I'm putting it out there: I'd love to dress her".
Kate is building a name for herself as a champion of high fashion and her Alexander McQueen wedding dress by Sarah Burton is reportedly worth nearly £1million.
