Madonna has hit upon an interesting idea to look for a model to represent her Material Girl clothing range.
The pop star and her daughter Lourdes, trade insults in a dressing room as an aide styles her hair in a four-minute spoof film to announce the competition.
As the pop star tells Lourdes her image of the perfect model for the range, her daughter adopts the guise of a sulky teenager, texting on her phone and eating a plate of fruit while ignoring her mum.
As the mum says ‘you’re not taking this seriously’ and dismisses her with ‘whatevs,’ the spoof takes a hilarious turn as Lourdes remarks ‘we don’t say that anymore’.
It all ends with Madonna accusing her daughter of being ‘lookist and ageist’ before asking the quintessential mom question “Have you done your homework?”
The Like a Virgin hitmaker describes her choice of model as a ‘woman-girl-female-child’.
