Prince William was behind the wheel yesterday when he and his wife, Kate Middleton, visited Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace. The Queen hosts a preholiday lunch for her relatives every year, and this year, William and Kate were joined by Prince Harry, Prince Charles, and others. Later in the day, William, Kate, and Harry reunited for
the Sun Military Awards.
David Beckham also turned out for the event, which honors the good work of British servicemen and women. Kate wowed on the red carpet in her black velvet
Alexander McQueen gown. She accentuated the strapless design with a stunning diamond and ruby necklace, bracelet, and earring set that she apparently received as a gift at her
April royal wedding.
